TAURIS Rimavská Sobota specializes in production of hams, sausages, small meat products, soft salamis, bacon products and pork loin products, smoked meat, meat products and meat spreads. All products are made of fresh meat from own Tauris meat processing plant.
TAURIS Rimavská Sobota produces the iconic and consumers´ favourite ZIPSER sausages and ZIPSER ham – the best selling sausages and ham in Slovakia. ZIPSER product line is built on a strong tradition of butchery in Slovakia, especially in Spiš region.
The whole ZIPSER product line consists of ten products. The seal of the original recipe was registered into the trademark registry in 2008.
In 2022 TAURIS Rimavská Sobota expanded with its new specialized meat processing plant for fresh game meat from Slovak forests and mountains which is used for products from Game meat product line.
TAURIS Group consists of four production plants (TAURIS Rimavská Sobota, TAURIS Spišská Nová Ves, TAURIS Mojmírovce and RYBA Košice), its own brand retail market chain “Mäsiarstvo u býka“ butcher´s, Rybabistro and TAURIS distribution – a Slovak logistics and distribution centre.
