TAURIS Mojmírovce specializes in production of long-life heat treated and non-heat treated meat products such as salami and sausages. The smallest production plant of TAURIS Group pays attention to traditional production procedures and recipes.
TAURIS Mojmírovce produces Slovak gastronomic speciality Nitran 77, made according to the original Czechoslovak state norm from 1988 protected in so called “Red book“ which should be followed by every honest producer.
The traditional recipe, the best quality ingredients and professional production procedures have brought several awards for Nitran 77 by TAURIS – “Značka kvality“ (Quality brand), Danubius Gastro 2019 and Winner of “Test magazín“ by Slovak Consumer Association.
Original recipes are also included in production procedures of Malokarpatská 77 salami and Carmen salami awarded by Danubius Gastro in 2020.
TAURIS Group consists of four production plants (TAURIS Rimavská Sobota, TAURIS Spišská Nová Ves, TAURIS Mojmírovce and RYBA Košice), its own brand retail market chain “Mäsiarstvo u býka“ butcher´s, Rybabistro and TAURIS distribution – a Slovak logistics and distribution centre.
